Grants Update

Two grants programs are open this month.

Community Benefit South Australia (CBSA) assists disadvantaged individuals, families and communities by providing one-off project funding to incorporated, non-government, non profit, charitable and social welfare organisations to:

  • Improve the well-being, quality of life, community participation and life management skills of disadvantaged individuals and communities
  • Develop and strengthen communities across the metropolitan, rural and remote regions of South Australia.

Priority is given to funding a number of special needs groups including Aboriginal communities.

CBSA Round 29 opened on Monday 25 January 2010 and closes on Monday 22 February 2010 at 5:00pm. Applicants will be notified in June 2010. To download the Funding Guidelines and Application Form Booklet, visit Community Benefit SA forms.

The Morialta Trust offers yearly distributions to Public Benevolent Institutions that assist disadvantaged children and young people. Distributions of up to $60,000 are available for innovative projects that will have a significant impact on the welfare of those target groups. You need to provide the Trust with an Expression of Interest in the form of a brief summary of the proposed project and proof of your organisation’s eligibily. The Trust will make a short list of projects that are of most interest and send a detailed application form to those applicants.

For more information contact the Morialta Trust on (08) 8363 3199 or email morialta@aapt.net.au
