Ian is a recreational musician and occasional freelance consultant and professional writer and editor with a wide experience in business, government and community sectors.
He helped establish the SA Live Music Club Inc and was a member of its management team for the past 15 years. He was a Trustee (Board Member) of the History Trust of South Australia for nine years and Board Member of Connecting Up for eight.
He enjoys reading, travel, photography, fixing old bicycles and playing guitar and keyboards in a rock ‘n’ roll band.
